"Behold the days come, saith The Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop Sweet wine" [Amos 9:13.]

Galilee, where Jesus turned the water into wine, is a place of mountains, and in Isaiah, we are told by The Lord,  "I will make ALL MY Mountains a Way and MY HIGHWAYS shall be Exalted" [Isaiah 49:11.]

In that marriage at Cana of Galilee there was presented to Jesus a Mountainous Problem that no human effort could scale; They had run out of wine, which threatened a "dud" ending to the wedding, to say the least; but this MOUNTAIN DROPPED THE SWEETEST WINE for that couple; Jesus turned the water into THE BEST wine, and that event would always remain in their memory. Jesus was the amazing answer to happiness at the beginning of their marriage, and the call to their hearts would be, that He remains still the answer to their continued happiness, even in the face of any HIGH mountain.

Brothers and sisters, herein is a very precious encouragement for every one of us, that The Lord chooses High and difficult Mountains to build His Highways. 

At that marriage in Cana of Galilee, Jesus  "manifested forth His Glory"  [John 2:11.] and revealed to all that He is The great Highway of God to transport anyone to the BEST blessing through any difficulty, turning any ordinary hum drum water of Life into "The Sweetest Wine".

What great achievement and represented power and glory, belongs to a highway that is built through an impossible high mountain! Such a Highway is exalted.
