                                -The next Verse-

"There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand" [Proverbs 19:21.]

Job was blessed double by the Lord, because he received instruction from The Lord, and this instruction from the Lord caused him to say...

"I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee, wherefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes" [Job 42:5-6.]

Jesus gave counsel to the Laodicean Church...  "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich, and white raiment that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear, and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.....Be Zealous therefore, and repent" [Revelation 18-19.] The Lord also described the son that did The Will of his father, and it was the one that said,  "I will not" and later repented and went. [Matthew 21:28-31.] Those who are doing the will of God are those who are constantly receiving "updated" changes in their thinking. The Lord says clearly to us..  "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher that the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." [Isaiah 55:8-9.]

Christians that are learning from the Lord, are not ones with dogged opinions but ones that are constantly repenting, which means having a change of heart and mind about many practical and spiritual issues.

The Lord make our hearts soft like He did with Job, causing a willingness to receive...  from the Lord, which  procures great...     from The Lord.

Jesus loves You.

God Bless
