"And He said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: AND UNTO YOU THAT HEAR SHALL MORE BE GIVEN" [Mark 4:25.]
The last specific message given by Christ to the Church is in the book of Revelation with the often repeated phrase, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what The Spirit saith unto the churches." [Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29. 3:6, 13, 22.]
There is a definite urging of The Lord to consider the greatness of the Promises he is making to each one of us; the blessing and eternal riches that The Lord is offering to the whole Church, which is His Body, are "superlative" to say the least! What greatness we are lovingly invited to inherit in The Lord! It is good to note, that we are urged to listen, not just to what The Spirit says to one church, but listen intently to what "The Spirit saith, unto the Churches" - Plural.
From a very young age, there is much benefit to us if we have taken heed HOW we have heard, not if we have heard, because children often hear it all, but how they hear, can have many variations, such as - not caring, different opinion, can't be bothered, listening to something else, poor evaluation of advice given, resent being told, etc, etc. This lack of taking heed can be a life and death issue, when instructions are given concerning safety, in regards to physical and as well, character wellbeing.
An employer finds a ready willingness to GIVE MORE to an employee that "Hears" with "Heed" and "Attention and gravity" and so, with The Lord, but with Him, ETERNAL RICHES and WELLBEING is at stake!
What a great promise and what a rich stewardship of GREAT THINGS, The Lord can bring us into, as we take heed to the "whole counsel of God" [Acts 20:27.] listening to what "The Spirit saith, unto the Churches" and it is good to remember that The Lord's call was to individuals, as is indicated in His words, "He that hath an ear" - "To Him that overcometh"
The Lord encourage you with the precious blessing of,

Because you are,

And attending upon,
David found the great REALITY of HEARING the Shepherds Voice, when he said...
"Sacrifice and offering Thou didst not desire; mine ears HAST THOU OPENED: burnt offering and sin offering hast Thou not required" [Psalm 40:6.]
This Phrase "Unto you that hear shall more be given" thrilled me much during my reading today. How gracious is The Lord to offer so much of eternal good with this beautiful instruction,
Jesus Loves you.
God Bless.
