Face to face!

Psalms 27:8 (KJV)
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

Thank you Lord that you do show us by and by that though we can be diligent with many spiritual exercises the real need that makes our face to shine like the face of Moses, is to see your face.

¶ Moses like Abraham was another "friend of God" and knew the Lord face to face.

Deuteronomy 34:10 (KJV)
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face...

Exodus 33:11 (KJV)
11 And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend....

¶ The face of a friend always does something for you, particularly when that friend is a t rue and loving friend indeed. It is the face of such a friend that is the blessing; to look at the foot would do n othing for you, but what a joy and heart stirring comfort it is to behold the face of a dear friend of past love and goodness; O to know Jesus in that way! He is our greatest friend who loves us like no other .
¶ If we don't see his face and enjoy something of such delight we do become as the word says "like them that go down into the pit" because the constant lack of the view of His beautiful face leaves us only to be taken with the vain and empty view of the world!

Psalms 143:7 (KJV) 7 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

  ¶ The Lord encourage us much and may the thrill of seeing His face grip our hearts with joy to say "Thy face O  Lord will I seek"

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Refrain

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!

Refrain

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

Refrain

¶ Jesus is reaching for you

God Bless
