Available Right Now!

¶ Yes, Jesus is available to you right now!

You might say, "If you knew me you wouldn't say that Jesus is available to me."

Oh yes I would. Jesus is available to ANYONE and EVERYONE.

¶ You are not left out of ANYTHING! All of Heaven wants you to come to Jesus - He left Heaven for YOU and endured the cross for YOU. There is NOTHING he will not do for YOU if it is for your good.

Jesus is is the great door (because of the cross he endured for all the, "whosever" of manking) flung open wide to all of Heaven's riches and eternal glory!

Jesus is available to you even if he doesn't know you!!

["Doesn't know you!!" is clarified at the end"]

And not only that - to the person he doesn't know he offers the happiest, most thrilling and fulfilling life. You might say "fair dink-um Grant, you seem to be saying that Jesus is a "pushover"

Yes - That's right!

[Jesus is a "pushover" is clarified at the end.]

¶ There is one in the Bible that found Jesus to be a "pushover" and we read about her in Luke's Gospel chapter 8 and verse 42 to 48.

¶ The story is about a desperate woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years and had "spent her living" on doctors and was still left in this very needy plight with all hope gone. She came behind the mob and secretly put out her hand to touch Jesus and the best she could do (because as the scripture says the crowd was "thronging" him) was to touch the very edge of his clothing AND SHE WAS HEALED!

Now this is the amazing thing!

¶ She pulled back in the crowd knowing the wonder and grace that was worked in her; but that wasn't the real wonder! The real wonder was that though Jesus knew for a very special and precious reason, saving power had gone out of him, he didn't know WHO touched him and he turns and says to the disciples ... "who touched Me?"

[She was blessed; 12 years of suffering gone in an instant! The great "heart healer" healed her body and she took the availability while he was not paying attention! Was that a pushover?]

Who Touched me???

¶ The disciples then put it to Jesus ... Luke 8:45 (KJV)
45Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
Here again are further words from Jesus ...
Luke 8:46 (KJV)
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

¶ Jesus' answer to Peter was "somebody"??

[Jesus gives the appearance to all that he is aware that "somebody" just received a great Life changing blessing from him without his permission, and that, that person just helped themselves. EXACTLY! this is the message by this incident being conveyed for all of us to know that this Christ is fully "AVAILABLE" FOR YOU WHOEVER YOU ARE AND WHATEVER YOUR PROBLEM, TEARS, OR GRIEF, HE CAN MAKE YOUR HEART WHOLE, HEALED, FORGIVEN AND COMFORTED. (because he said to the woman "be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole") THIS WAS THE OPEN ENDED UNHINDERED "AVAILABILITY" OF THE GREAT LOVE OF GOD!]

¶ We are all somebodies, none of us "stand out in the crowd", though sometimes we might like to think so. Everyone whether they become "a somebody" or not, eventually all people become "a nobody" if they don't come to Jesus. You can only become a somebody if you are made a somebody by someone that is a somebody. The only lasting somebody is Jesus Christ because he qualifies to be the greatest "somebody" that ever lived because he has conquered that which renders all somebodies nobodies and that rending power is the grave. The grave renders all to be nothing except, all those and all of that which is in Jesus Christ.

¶ What Jesus was after, was to secure this dear one in his love. The Lord is not concerned with your "somebody" grade or classification - who you are - famous or infamous, rich or poor, wicked or nice, noble or ignoble; What he is interested in is - where are you in the crowd? Are you going to remain in secret with your problem, fret and sorrow or are you going to reach out to him to know his forgiveness and love which is freely available as this woman found.

¶ He is passing by and is AVAILABLE! Are you going to avail yourself of this gracious Saviour who is full of virtue available for all your need.

¶ Jesus wasn't concerned with calculating this woman's situation, the blessing and provision was available to her regardless, as to how her past life "added up": She had lost all faith in her self ability to "cope" with life and lost all faith in the ability of man to solve her problems and turned her faith toward this "son of man" from Heaven who is "the son of God".

¶ Reach out to Jesus - reach out to touch him, whether you are in this world, "a somebody" or "a nobody". All that is available from the Lord to sinners is not based upon who they are but upon who he is because Jesus said - Luke 5:32 (KJV)
32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

¶ The lowest "common denominator" is that we are all sinners as the Bible declares ... Romans 3:23 (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 1:8 (KJV)
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:10 (KJV)
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

PUSHOVER EXPLANATION:

¶Jesus is no pushover for man to get what he wants BUT when man humbles himself, he receives a flood of blessing that there will be no "room to receive it".

The prodigal son after the meanness to his father returned with a rehearsed speech to  say ..Luke 15:18 (KJV)
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
But when he arrived at his fathers gate post - the following happened, which is better to just put in the scripture as it reads  ...  Luke 15:20-24 (KJV)
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the
best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the
fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
¶ Does that seem like a "pushover" to the son? Rather the Father pushed over the son's guilt with a MIGHTY SHOVE! into oblivion and cut the son off before he had a chance to say "make me as one of thy hired servants" Now that is what the "pushover" is all about. Jesus has THE POWER TO PUSH OVER YOUR SIN INTO OBLIVIAN IF YOU COME TO HIM BECAUSE HE HAS POTENTIALLY DUMPED ALL OF THE SIN OF THE HUMAN RACE INCLUDING YOURS INTO OBLIVION AT THE CROSS! AND FORGIVENESS IS FREELY AVAILABLE WITH ABUNDANT JOY.

"Doesn't Know You" Explanation:

¶ When the Lord chooses to know someone there is no "dark glass" in that, but that is incidental as regards salvation and only becomes an important matter as a Christian and being open to him for fellowship with him as Lord,  because he is Light and Truth. Of course there must be lowliness and neediness of heart in a sinner as one comes to the Lord for salvation but Praise the Lord you don't have to bring any recommendation or list of wrong you have done because whatever it is he has got it covered by The Cross, JUST REACH OUT TO HIM AND THEN LIKE THE WOMAN WHEN HIS PEACE AND GRACE HAS HEALED ALL YOUR HEART YOU CAN FALL DOWN TREMBLING AT HIS FEET CONFESSING HIS GREAT GOODNESS AND YOUR LOVE AND THANKFULLNESS!

Jesus is Reaching for You.

God Bless.
