"I Know the thoughts that I think toward You saith The

                        Lord, Thoughts of Peace and not of Evil to give you

                                     an Expected End" [Jeremiah 29:11.] 

The thoughts that The Lord has toward you cannot be numbered [Psalm 40:5.] 

David said  "What is man that Thou art so mindful of Him" [Psalm 8:4.] The reason David said that was because, when he considered the heavens and the work of His fingers that it was all for man, he marvelled that God would with such loving care decorate mans situation and do it with such spectacular fullness and Glory! It is good to remember that The Bible says  "The earth hath He given to the children of men"   [Psalm 115:16.] That indeed is a Giving God, If only we knew How great is this Love and "Givingness' of our Loving heavenly Father.

David goes on in Psalm 8 to say  "And the son of man, that Thou visitest him" [Psalm 8:4.] In the beginning that was indeed a great love that created such for man, but that was before he went wrong and "wretchedness" came into his soul and yet God immediately "Visited" him and that is Grace, but David says it was the "son of man" that he visited, and who was the first son of man? it was Cain, and he murdered the next son born of created man, and so the Human race began with a great fall into ugliness and the real visit to "the son of man" took place when Christ came, and O what a visit! "He suffered The Just for The unjust"; "Was wounded for our transgressions" This indeed was the great Visit to "the son of man".

There are some people I would not have a real fond desire to visit, such as murderers etc. and yet  "For God so Loved the world that he gave his only begotton Son,  that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life" [John 3:16.] and with this great Love The Lord Jesus Christ visited a world, described as..  "The Lord looked down from Heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are altogether become filthy:There is none that doeth good, NO NOT ONE" [Psalm 14:2-3. Romans 3:10-12.]

What a love is this! and it is because of this Love that The Lord  knows as he says.. "The thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of Peace and NOT of evil..... 

This Promise reminds me of the childrens bedtime stories, "And they Lived Happily Ever After" and how wonderfully true is this prospect for all Gods Children.

Rejoice! dear brother and sister that The Lord is "so mindful" of You!

He cannot stop thinking about You! and that is the reality of his promise, that His thoughts toward you "Cannot be Numbered" [Psalm 40:5.] and in another place "They are more in number than the sand" [Psalm 139:18.] How Incredible is that!

The Lord encourage you much with this truth, that He has Planned blessings abundant for you. Seek each day to be kept in His will and in the great delights of all His wonderful purposes.
