"I have written to Him The Great Things of My

                           Law, but they were counted as a strange thing"

                                                           [Hosea 8:12.]

How exciting it is to recall the fact that we are on the side of such a Solid Rock (as in the picture above) of Greatness, and this greatness is The Living Word of God.

When the children of Israel were poised to go in and inherit the "Promised Land" Moses spoke these very wonderful words of truth to them...  "Behold I have taught you statutes and judgements, even as The Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people; For what nation is there so great, who has God so nigh unto them, as The Lord our God is in all things that we call upon Him for; and what nation is there so great, that hath statutes so righteous, as all this Law which I set before you this day?" [Deuteronomy 4:5-8.]

Indeed The Word of God is GREAT - This Law is the governing influence across the civilisation societies of the whole world - This Law written in the hearts and consciences of all men everywhere; [Romans 2:15.] There is no civilisation that has produced Laws for social harmony that is not aligned with the Decalog (The ten commandments) and also other qualified laws from "The Law of Moses" [Acts 13:39.] written as received, by Moses from The Lord [Exodus 24:4.] BC 1491.

What "Great Things" - "Thou shalt not steal" / "Thou shalt not bear False witness" / Thou shalt not Kill / Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours house, or thy neighbours wife..etc. / Honour thy father and mother. All these plus those not mentioned if kept in society today, Life in this World would be SUPERLATIVE GREATNESS!

Of course "by the law is the knowledge of sin" [Romans 3:20.] and man is a million miles away from the perfection in the "Law" as Paul said,  "And the Commandment which was ordained to Life, I found to be unto Death"; [Romans 7:10.] and so "In the fullness of time God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the Law, to REDEEM them that were under the Law" [Galatians 4:4-5.] and so  "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of The Law, being made a curse for us, as it is written; cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree" [Galatians 3:13.]

How Great is The law of The Word of God and what Marvellous Greatness is The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that has redeemed us from the condemnation disaster of our sinful transgression of the law.

Herein is the wonderful greatness of the complete Book of God...

The Lord bless and encourage with this promise of the absolute eternal greatness of this book concerning which the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, and in this lively hope we are not ashamed of such beautiful words of Truth and Life.[Romans 5:5.]

 "Great Peace have they which love Thy Law and nothing shall offend them" [Psalm 119:165.]
