Jeremiah The Prophet, In the Pit.

"Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they
have digged a pit for my soul..."
[Jeremiah 18:20.]
Hi Kids, Though the Dino is happy on his carpet, it certainly doesn't look real good for Jeremiah in "The Pit" - He was thrown down there by nastiness; even though Jeremiah was speaking true words and being a true helper of others, he was wrongly judged and ended up in that dark horrible pit.
Jeremiah felt lonely and rejected and felt without friends, but there was a friend that as the Bible says "sticks closer than a brother" [Proverbs 18:24.] and that was the Lord; Jeremiah trusted in the Lord and followed Him.
Do you sometimes feel that you haven't got a friend and you have been treated wrongly? - Don't be discouraged because The Lord Jesus is the greatest friend and is faithful and will "never leave you or forsake you" and you can boldly say "The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me" [Hebrews 13:5-6.]
Jeremiah Prayed and The Lord wonderfully provided for him and delivered him from the pit and the bad treatment of those against him and used him to help Gods people in a time of trouble.
You can pray also and know for sure that The Lord will take care of you whatever the difficulty, whether it is trouble at school with "bullies" or being let down by your friends, It is good to remember that people can't help what they are or have become, just like we can't help what we are unless The Lord helps us and changes us; so keep Looking to Jesus and tell Him about everything because He Loves you.
At the end of much difficulty Jeremiah was able to say, The Lord's compassions fail not and "Great is Thy faithfulness...The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him to the soul that seeketh Him" [Lamentations 3:22-26.]
As well as telling The Lord it is very important to share with your Mum and Dad who love you too; The Lord provides for us wisdom from Mum and Dad and also as we read The Bible daily we learn the Great Wisdom of The Lord, and will be able to say from a thankful heart like the psalmist "Guide me with Thy counsel and afterward receive me to Glory" [Psalm 73:24.]
Sometimes we can feel that no sooner are we lifted out of one "Pit" that we end up being thrown into another, but just remember that just as Jeremiah was delivered from the "Pit", you will also be delivered; David was also delivered from a "Horrible Pit" and so was Joseph; The blame for Joseph's "Pit" was others and David ended up in a few "Pits" with the blame being on himself; - Whatever the case, you go to The Lord and share it all with Him and if there is some "Pit" of something you have done wrong and you should tell Dad and Mum, then Trust the Lord , pray and tell them whatever it is, and because they love you, there will be forgiveness and you will have a great peace and joy for your days ahead; The Bible says, that if we cover our sins we "shall not prosper" [Proverbs 28:13.] and that doesn't mean we have to go round confessing our sins to everyone, but be Honest before The Lord and in His light, opening up to Him about our sins and wrong and.. "He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from ALL Unrighteousness" [1 John 1:9.] giving us a fresh new Peace and Joy in following Him!
Remember Jesus is your Lighthouse showing the Way through all the dangers.
Jesus Loves You
God Bless.
