* A CALL TO ALL CHRISTIANS! *
"An Individual Concern.
By j. Sidlow Baxter. Book title - "Enter Ye In" (1939).
Remember that salvation is an individual concern. God
gave us life one by one, and He deals with us one by one.
In the name of Christianity we repudiate political systems of to-day which
suppress the individual beneath the
mass...
That rubbishy psychology that treats the nations as so many herds of cattle is a curse to mankind.
Those specious, heartless, hireling leaders of modern political mass movements who will make the streets run with human blood to achieve their end, and then huddle men together,in their soul-destroying philosophy Of collectivism, treating human beings as a pack of animals to be whipped
into obedient servitude, and in which the
individual soul is of comparatively no value, are
anti- christian.
Christianity Stands for
the sacredness and priceless value of the
individual.
The Good Shepherd, Who gave His life for the-sheep, will go out into the desert and among the wild mountains and steep crags to find the one sheep that has strayed.
NO political system will ever bring that Utopia which the deluded populaces of the world are seeking to-day. It is not enough simply to change conditions: it is men themselves that need changing.
It does not matter what colour of political shirt a man
wears; if the man inside the shirt is not right with God, he will not long be
right with his fellow-men.
You may make men wear uniform, but that will not make men themselves uniform. Each human personality is unique. Each human soul is of infinite value to God. For each man and woman Christ died on Calvary. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only true hope of the world; and that Gospel lays all the emphasis on the individual. We call on men and women to-day to look away from the vain systems of men, to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Man-built systems look imposing in their day; but they are paltry in reality, and soon pass away.
Let us not be deceived by them. It is still true that as individuals we are saved or lost.
Unless the second coming of Christ takes place in our life-time we have each got to die; each to go into eternity, each to Stand before God, each to answer, each to receive judgment, each to be saved or lost!
O the vital importance, the infinite value, the unspeakable responsibility of the individual!"
J. Sidlow Baxter. Book title - "Enter Ye In" (1939)
Remarkable that this blest servant of the Lord had a grasp of the satanic work of dark globalism iniquity, way back as far as 1939!
God BLESS.
