** Helpful understanding for Muslims. **
Important Clarity About the Foundation and Roots of Islam.
The Character of Islam.
Though Islam was birthed and formulated early in the AD Era (after Christ), yet the orientation of Islam was firmly characterised, developed and remains entrenched in the realm of the faulty (inability to effect a change in man), rugged and inferior Righteousness and spirit of the Old Testament - BC Era.
The religion of Islam, it's tenor, disposition and character is Old Testament (Mosaic ) harsh Law; rigorous and demanding.
All those who follow the law, have very little power for grace, and can only tend to answer failure with reprobation and Judgment.
Those who are adherents to the Law, easily become tyrants with the Law.
The Human race in (BC) Old Testament time was crude by nature and behaviour so that management of the human race by God was confronting law, with measures that answered disobedience with the death penalty !
For example:-
God's commandment (via Moses) to Israel concerning the Sabbath was to strictly observe or, the death penalty!
“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death” [Exodus 35:2].
Such measures of handling the rogue nature of man and bring him into total devotedness to God, failed to change him for the better and left him only to spiral towards horrendous ungodliness, failure and the ultimate curse of self destruction!
The Bible says .... "For the law made nothing perfect ....." [Hebrew 7:19]
The Law given to Moses in all of it's severity is enacted even with greater severity within the principles and actions of Islam according to the Quran.
For Example:
The law of Moses says ...
...... "then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe" [Exodus 21:24].
Hence the Quran and Islam push the punishment of - "Cut of his hands and feet on opposite sides" [Quran 5:33].
Another Mosaic law was; that if a son becomes belligerent and doesn't obey his father or mother he was to be stoned to death, as in the following Old Testament verse ....
..... "And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear" [Deuteronomy 21:20-21].
‘Honour Killing’, is a term not found in Scripture, but is an Islamic practice following in type, a distortion of the above Scripture [Deuteronomy 21:20-21]. Sharia Law contains extremes that go beyond the limits of Mosaic law, in keeping with the stern meaning of ‘Islam’, which means - “submit”, without any personal or public compromise. Such oppressive religious rules and regulations, have the power to turn law into deadly licence.
For Example:
The following video, is of an Iranian woman, who was shot and paralyzed by the 'morality' Police for allegedly violating Iran’s mandatory hijab law.
Oppressive civil Law out of control and becomes lethal.
Because of the (Law derived) brutish misdemeanour of human self-righteousness, such actions of faulty humanity, can become, an awful and evil miscarriage of justice. Such practice today is a serious transgression of the God given new conscience, proffered upon all of humanity worldwide since the advent of Christ.
In the western World (under the influence of the God given new dispensation - AD Era), such a diabolical practice is against the law and classified as murder.
Moses and his Old Testament Law (given by God) was a series of abrupt commandments which ultimately proved to be a severe reminder to mankind of his utter wretchedness and failure.
“ ….. By the Law is the knowledge of sin” [Romans 3:20].
Also the commandments contained measures to counter his loathsome capacity for evil, and yet had no power to change him and make him as he should be "in the likeness" of a loving God.
Man was rather left under the curse of failure and never being good enough or strong enough to keep the law and please God!
The law always finding fault with decrees of reprobation and condemnation.
As quoted above ... "The law made nothing perfect" and yet the Law instigated by God was vital in revealing to man, that he was a sinner and needed to get right with God and also learn to be right with his fellow man.
Seeing then that the product of the law of Moses was a perpetual failure without the power to change man, but only reveal his sin; what was God to do?
** THE CASE IS URGENT! **
The urgency is a dire one, because man’s tendency, is to turn the grievous law that hurts him into a weapon and an excuse to hurt others and abuse his neighbour to ugly extremes.
God saw that the plight of man was a progressive degradation of himself to final destruction!
So, God set forward with the following plan ....
...... "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse" [Malachi 4:5-6].
All of Humanity was heading toward a cursed existence of self destruction, because the Law of God, instead of cleaning man up from his iniquity, it rather condemned him and revealed that he was filthy, defiled and rejected.
BUT ...
… One was coming to prepare man and to turn his heart towards his children, and with them, get right and ready to meet the Lord from Heaven, as in the following verse which is a New Testament repeat of the last verse in Malachi, in the Old Testament; revealing that tragically man was rapidly bringing upon himself and the whole Earth the resultant curse of his sin.
"But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord" [Luke 1:17].
Of course that "John", was John the baptist who was the forerunner of Christ who is the Lord from Heaven, who in love stepped into man's world and his horrible plight of death because of his sin and proffered for the whole world through His death on the cross; redemption, forgiveness, eternal life and peace with God.
Jesus Introduced God’s New Era Strategy.
The story of the prodigal son found in the New Testament of the Bible.
A loving father had two sons. One son was obedient to his father, but the younger son was unthankful, disobedient and demanded that his father forward to him his due inheritance and left the family to live a riotous life, entertained by prostitutes and his renegade friends. Soon his money was wasted, his friends couldn’t be bothered with him and he began to be in want and “no man gave unto him”.
He was given a job of feeding pigs and was so hungry that “he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat.” He said to himself in these dire straights - “In my fathers house there is bread enough and to spare and here I perish with hunger. I will go to my father and say to him, I am not worthy to be called thy son, make me one of thy hired servants.”
He set off to his father’s house and when he was a great way off, his father saw him and “ran out and fell on his neck and kissed him.”
After the son said to his father “I have sinned against Heaven and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son”.
Then the following happened ….
…. “The father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry”.
The above is the new Era of dealings from Heaven toward all of mankind established by Jesus Christ.
Did the father of the prodigal son issue upon him an “honour killing” because he brought dishonour upon the family?
Why, all members of every family on Earth are all guilty of many sins against Heaven and dishonour against, both God and man, and such disdain and murder upon another’s sin, suggests a serious contradiction and hypocrisy of the worst kind.
Thus, now upon Earth God has established the dispensation of grace dealings towards repentance for all of mankind.
Thus, under such a world wide canopy of God’s long suffering and goodness to bring sinners to repentance, man can also learn forgiveness and compassion towards his neighbour.
God Bless every Muslim with the truth and true understanding of God’s message of grace and forgiveness towards all types of sinners everywhere.

Further Illustration of an OLD Condemnation and the NEW Way.
We are told this “certain man” had two sons.
When the younger son returned home broken and ruined by his sin and reckless life, the older son heard, (when he returned from working in the field) the rejoicing and music in the homestead. He enquired with the servants about the celabrations and was told of the younger brother’s return, of the father’s forgiveness and his restoration as a loved son in the family.
The older brother was angry and refused to go in and join in the celebrations; the Father came out and sought to console him that it was meet to receive the broken son and to be glad and rejoice that his brother was “dead and is alive again, was lost and is found,” but he heaped disgust and condemnation upon his younger brother instead of forgiveness and happily receiving him home.
The older brother represents the Old Dispensation (Old Testament) of the rigerous law and judgment to condemnation. Was the older brother thinking with selfrightous resentment, that his father should issue the command for an “honour killing”? Kill, instead of love and forgive the younger brother, who has returned home with sorrow for his error?
Now is the Time for all Muslims.
It is time for all Muslims to walk away from the incomplete, barren and blood stained overbloated practices of the Old Era, and seek to understand the Heaven sent, love and life filled hope of the New Era.
