Job's Definition of the "natural" Life of Man:

 "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of Trouble.

He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as shadow, and continueth not." [Job 14:2.]

King David's definition of man's life cycle:

 "As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth: For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof, shall know it no more. [Psalm 15-16.]

The Apostle Peter's definition of the glory of man:

 "For all flesh is as grass, and ALL the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away..

                                ....But The Word of the Lord

                              Endureth forever..."

                             [1 Peter 1:24-25.] 

Solomon said  "Vanity of Vanities, saith the preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever." [Ecclesiastes 1:2-4.]

How true are all these words and how real and applicable are the words of Jesus..

                "For What shall it profit a man

             if he shall gain the whole world and

             And lose his own soul." [Mark 8:36.]

How ever you go in this life, it matters nothing compared to  "The unsearchable riches of Christ" [Ephesians 3:8.] that are on offer because everything about Christ is ETERNAL compared to everything about man is TEMPORAL so that the temporal riches are huge dividends of ZERO return, cashed in at the GRAVE and The "unsearchable riches of Christ" are HUGHMONGUS DIVIDENDS CASHED IN FOR EVER!

The Lord bless you with the Great Dividends that are yours if you come to Christ, and such blessings are, Forgiveness, Peace, Salvation of your spirit, soul and body, a place of Specific Glory to you in the great and mighty City of God and according to The declaration of the Gospel, ALL is the possession of the Children of God...  "...Things present, things to come, ALL is yours and ye are Christ's and Christ is God's" [1 Corinthians 3:22-23.]

All of the above is summed up in the beautiful words of the great gospel text...  "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" [John 3:16.]

                                **** Glory Theme ***

  Continuing with the thoughts on Christ being "Glorified in His saints"

Just think about the greatness of this truth (as emphasised before) for every believer, that Christ in us will be GLORY! - As already mentioned  "Christ in you the hope of GLORY" [Colossians 1;27.]

We have a very precious truth prophesied in the old testament of a coming Glory of The Lord that will encompass everything!  "For the earth shall be filled with THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF THE LORD AS THE WATERS COVER THE SEA" [Habakkuk 2:14.]

The question could be asked - How much does the waters cover the sea? If the water didn't "cover the sea" there wouldn't be any sea! or if there were areas where the waters didn't cover the sea, well in those areas there would not be any sea: What a powerful way to illustrate how SATURATED THE EARTH IS GOING TO BE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF THE LORD!

Say for instance during the Millennial reign when we return with Christ to Reign with Him; -   ".. and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years"  [Revelation 20:4. 1:5. Psalm 149:5-9. 2 Timothy 2:12.]  At that point all the saints will be glorified because as mentioned previous, we have been raptured from off the Earth, been at the Marriage supper of The Lamb, and we have "seen Him" and are now "Like Him" and returned to Earth after the 7 years terrible tribulation, possessing a Full Expression of The Likeness of His Eternal Glory! How true are Paul's words  "that He (Jesus) might present it (the Church) to Himself, a GLORIOUS CHURCH without spot or wrinkle"  [Ephesians 5:27.] How amazing and Great is this Salvation Gospel that we are able to declare to The World.

Notice that the verse from Habakkuk says that, the Earth shall be filled with the "knowledge of The Glory of the Lord" - How will everyone in the vast extremities of the Earth "KNOW" the Glory of The Lord? Christ is forever singular in His personage and  in one place and God The Father is "a Spirit", though everywhere, will not be comprehendable by the masses upon the Earth during the Millennial Reign, so  people will need to SEE The GLORY TO KNOW IT, and  how will they see The Glory of the Lord EVERYWHERE? They will SEE YOU and millions of Christlike members of His Body, The Church all over the earth and thus SEE and EXPERIENCE The Knowledge of The Glory of The lord COVERING the Earth as the waters COVER the Sea.

The Lord overwhelm us with this great Grace upon all the saints, It does remind  us of The Cry that sounded out when they brought forth the Headstone in the re-buliding of The Temple and cried  "GRACE, GRACE UNTO IT" [Zechariah 4:7.]

How we can thank and praise The Lord for the wonderful truth of His Promise -  "Eye hath not see, neither ear heard, neither entered into the heart of man, the things that God hath prepared for them that Love Him' [1 Corinthians 2:9.]
