Precious Promise - 2 Corinthians 6:1-2.

                                        2 Corinthians 6:1-2.

1We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

  • The Lord's Grace is available to make us a covenant of blessing to others. [See Isaiah 49:8.]
  • To be this blessing we need to know The Lord's strengthening or "succor" us in His salvation.

Promise for You
Written by Grant Hayman

The Following presented here was originally produced

in the form of a Gospel Tract.

How is Jesus Reaching for You?

                          He has already reached you!

God commends his love to you in that, while you are now living at this present time in the history of the Human race, Christ has already died for your sins!      "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us". [Romans 5:8.]

The story is told of a man in prison who received a "Gideons" Bible and boasted to the other inmates that he now had good paper to use for the purpose of rolling his cigarettes , and so he proceeded with real enjoyment to rip the pages out of the Gideons new testament, smoking his way through the four Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and then Acts and reached the next book called "Romans" and came to the text already mentioned and as he was rolling the tobacco in the page his eyes fell upon    the verse in the face of his careless mockery and was smitten in his heart with the wonderful words, "But God commends  his love toward us.." Suddenly the Glorious Light of the Gospel of "Amazing Grace" cleared the skepticism in his mind: Understanding dawned! That Christ still died for him and the whole human race even though God knew the world of men would be entrenched in sin and error till the end of time! What a revelation of God's mercy and grace was staring at him from the Bible page he just tore out!

Blessing in his Name.

 Deuteronomy 10:8 (KJV)
"At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day."

** Blessing in his Name. **

What a Priceless privilege to bear the name of Jesus Christ. The tribe of Levi was separated to bear the ark of the covenant. Paul said he was separated unto the Gospel of God. [Romans 1:1.] You couldn't separate Paul from good news; even when on a sinking ship he was able to say "be of good cheer because the Lord has spoken to me"!

The Lord Jesus said to Ananias that Paul was a chosen vessel unto him to bear his name before Gentiles, Kings and the children of Israel and what blessing followed Paul's ministry as he bore the name of Christ in such glorious terms as rendered in his letter to the Thessalonians - "That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ might be magnified in you and you in him according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ." [2 Thess. 1:10-12.] Yes! what blessing we can bring to many as the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is magnified in our walking, talking, and living for him. A thousand times - YES! We have unsuppased blessing to bring to everyone we know as we share his love and the power in his Precious name to forgive, save and give new life. Acts 4:12 (KJV
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

More on blessing.

 God Bless.

"Jesus Christ is either a fool

                                                or

He is who he said He was"

What did Jesus actually say then, that would cause a sound thinker to make such a statement.

Lets look at some statements about who he said he was, amazing statements that have never come from the lips of any other credible person!

Jesus said the following words:-
